Office Visits

pediatric services

Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to children’s needs, and it is our goal to make your child feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.

Your first visit is all about your child: his or her comfort, happiness, and health

During your youngster’s first visit, we will review the dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of teeth and mouth. Then Dr. Rhoads or Dr. Coleman will meet with you and your child to discuss the X-rays, help create an individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have.

At your little one’s next visit, one of our hygienists will clean and polish teeth, and inspect for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.

Bring your son or daughter’s smile, but also remember to bring these to the first appointment

Rescheduling or Cancellations

If you find you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment for your child, please give our office at least 24 hours notice if possible for all cleaning and dental treatment appointments.  Our office reserves the right to charge a $50 fee for any missed appointments (no call/no show). All fees must be paid before you reschedule another appointment.

If you miss more than two appointments without notifying our office, we reserve the right to refuse rescheduling for your child or to dismiss your child from our practice. Your son or daughter will only have the ability to be a walk-in patient in the event there is an open slot for future appointments.
